PUBLIC RELATIONS/DAWA COMMITTEE
- Relationship of ICH with other centers and Islamic and Dawa institutions, such as Shura Council.
- Relationship between ICH and honorary and dignitary personalities such as: scholars, thinkers, business men or women, active people.
- Relationship between ICH and governmental organizations: City council, county, State, newspapers, companies, etc.
- Dawa for Muslims:
- Welcoming of new Muslims and offering necessary items for them and their education.
- Welcoming and giving attention to Muslim visitors of the Masjid.
- Dawa for Non-Muslims:
- Welcoming of new Muslims and offering necessary items for them and their education.
- Gathering and preparing adequate materials on Islam, such as: books, tapes, etc.
- Setting up special programs on Islam awareness and answering questions, the Masjid's message.
- Visiting schools and universities to educate about Islam.
- Training our youth and adults on speaking and Dawa with non-Muslims.
- Contacting local papers and offering positive articles about Islam.
- Identifying wrong actions, and opposing those who attack Islam.
- Getting involved and active with public events, City, County, and offering Islam's opinion.
- Setting up a Dawa table, with material on Islam.
- Setting up special programs for new Muslims (food, follow-up).
- Conducting a study for local colleges and universities.
